Squam Lake is the second largest lake in New Hampshire, with a surface area of approximately 6,791 acres. The lake is known for its pristine water quality and natural beauty, and is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and swimming. The lake was made famous by the movie "On Golden Pond", which was filmed on location at Squam Lake.
